As Lloyd’s of London Agents since March, 1991 our jurisdiction area includes the south-eastern state of São Paulo (SP), the southern states of Paraná (PR), Santa Catarina (SC) and Rio Grande do Sul (RS) and the centre-western state of Mato Grosso do Sul (MS).

The main ports in this area are Santos and São Sebastião (SP), Paranaguá and Antonina (PR), São Francisco do Sul, Itajai, Navegantes, Itapoá and Imbituba (SC) and Rio Grande and Porto Alegre (RS).

The company has no physical branches, but in our private capacity as independent surveyors and recovery agents we can render services at all locations in Brazil, either with our own experts or using our countrywide network of correspondents.

Inspect Santos is since its foundation in 1973 experienced in Marine and Cargo Surveys, managed by experienced Surveyors - some of them with over 35 years of experience.

All staff surveyors attended compulsory courses and passed exams by FUNENSEG (Foundation National School of Insurance) hence are duly certified / registered by FENASEG (National Federation of Insurance Companies). Some are Teachers of Transport and Cargo Casualties and Losses at FUNENSEG. Several also attended compulsory training seminars and passed exams by Lloyd's Agency Department, as one of the conditions for the company to proudly keep its Lloyd's Agency appointment in the most important states of Brazil.

Engineers, non-exclusive Surveyors to Classification Societies, P & I Club Surveyors, Claims Adjusters and Settling Agents, Marine and Cargo Surveyors, we are always available to assist with high quality services.

The company's affiliated law office, run by one of its directors, is specialized in recoveries on behalf of subrogated insurers and/or any cargo interests from ocean, air and road carriers, freight forwarders, port operators, warehouses etc. It is also capable to defend in or out of Court liability cases against freight forwarders etc.
